  • First Saturday of each month: Recycled cans and Metals

Beerwah Lions runs a recycling collection morning on the first Saturday of each month. Aluminium and other metals are accepted and sold on. This is a two fold project in gaining funds for the needy as well as encouraging the public in cleaning up their local area. Deliver all recycling to the collection point near the Beerwah Co-op between 8.30 - 11.30 am on the first Saturday of each month.

  • Your Q 3 2020 Convention- April update

In these times we need to adjust, anticipate the unexpected, and even change the lens of our usual focus. And just when we think we have a plan forward, we get blind-sided again. That’s what’s going on for the Convention Committee, and we’re guessing in many respects, it’s going on for you too.
What we can say with absolute certainty, is that the Convention will go ahead. Now whether that be on site in Toowoomba in October, or as a virtual event, that remains to be seen. The Committee will make this decision and advise you at the end of this financial year. In the meantime, we ask that you hold your Registrations until July.
When this is over, we will look back and feel proud, individually and as an organisation, of how we performed during this time. There are times in your life when how you respond matters. Now is one of those times. The only thing we can control is how we behave and react, especially with each other.
Thank you for your support and look after each other.

    Fiona Roberts
    2020 Convention Chair
